SOLVE

For our HubSpot account two google ads accounts of agencies are connected who runs the paid campaigns for us.

 

Agency 1 - The campaigns run by this agency on Google ads are running perfectly fine and whenever new contact is created it shows the ads interaction data in contact timeline for search campaigns.

 

Agency 2 - For this we are facing issues despite tracking is enabled the contact timeline is not showing the ads interaction data. We tried connecting the ads account again but still the issue is continuing. Does the agency need to add the utm on landing page URL? But I belive whenever Ads account and HubSpot is connected the tracking parametes are added by its own.

 

Can anyone please help me on this.

No you do not need to do it manually When you connect your Google ad account to HubSpot, you can enable auto-tracking, which will automatically apply a set of UTM parameters to all supported ad types in your account for more details kindly go through this article here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ads/track-and-report-on-google-ads-in-hubspot

You’re right that HubSpot automatically adds tracking parameters when the Google Ads account is connected. If Agency 2’s ad data isn’t showing up, here’s what I’d check:

  1. UTM Parameters – Confirm the landing page URLs have proper UTM tracking. HubSpot usually handles this, but it’s worth verifying.
  2. Auto-Tracking – Go to Settings > Marketing > Ads and ensure auto-tracking is enabled for Agency 2’s account.
  3. HubSpot Tracking Code – Double-check that the HubSpot tracking code is installed on the landing pages.
  4. Google Ads Setup – Ensure their campaigns are correctly tracking interactions and conversions.

If everything looks fine and it’s still not working, HubSpot support may need to take a closer look.

No in the ads dashboard I'm not able to see contacts for this connected account as below. For other agency ads account it is working fine. Below are the utms agency is passing from their ads account.

Also, have you checked the form that you have added to this account is there any submission on that changes are you getting traffic from Google ads but there is no form submission on the landing page

@Gaurav_Aggarwal the form on landing page used for this campaign is HubSpot form also HubSpot landingpage. The form submissions are coming up but as agency is passing utm from ads account. However in the contact activity the ads interaction activity is not showing plus on ads dashboard it says 0 contacts as shared in above screenshot.

You need to recheck your form again which you have added to this ad campaign because if you are getting form submissions then your ads dashboard should not show zero contact created.

@Gaurav_Aggarwal I checked the form submissions are coming fine also the Google ads account in re-integrated.

I have a query does the agency people will have to add the UTM on ad level manually? Because I see the data should get captured if account is integrated.
