Google Ads Data is different from HubSpot reporting data
Hi,
All of our landing pages for our Google Ads are created and run through Hubspot, which are then linked to our different Google Ads. For some reason the Google Ads data we have is showing different numbers than what is in HubSpot. The form submissions from one of our landing pages shows 4 conversions yet Hubspot says we have 0 submissions. This is happening in almost all of our landing pages. Is there a reason why this is happening?
Google Ads Data is different from HubSpot reporting data
Hi Pam,
Thanks so much for your reply. Our forms are both Hubspot forms and non-hubspot forms. For our non-hubspot forms, the submissions from the website has been enabled the entire time. Is there something else we are missing?
I'm not sure that I fully understand what you mean by the Hubspot tracking code.
As well, should we assume the data provided by Hubspot will not match directly by numbers but instead by overall trends?
We generally recommend looking at these metrics such as this for trends rather than for precise numbers as there can frequently be discrepancies between what's being shown in HubSpot and what's being shown in Google Analytics.
There are a number of reasons for these discrepancies such as the way HubSpot and Google define sessions and how they measure the source of sessions. The article below will give you a little more context on other reasons why discrepancies may show:
Could you provide more information about the form submissions? Is the HubSpot tracking code installed in your pages and the non form submissions turned on in your account? ( more information here )
