Facebook Warning: Violating personal data in Hubspot URLs
We’re receiving this warning from Facebook about potentially violating personal data in our URLs from Husbpot.
Our team has no idea what’s causing this, as we haven't added any personal data parameters to our URLs or changed any settings on Hubspot - but it’s impacting our ability to deliver ads.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What have you done to resolve it?
Here’s an example of some of the URLs currently being flagged by Facebook/Meta:
A possible trigger for this problem is an URL with parameters containing personal data (or something that looks like personal data).
I wanted to share this external article on this error, in addition to this article from META (please note that you'll need to login into Facebook to see it) regarding this error.
I would recommend reaching out to Facebook Support regarding this to get more information on this alert and submit a dispute if necessary.
Best,
Kristen

Facebook Warning: Violating personal data in Hubspot URLs
This seems like an issue that should be fixed between HubSpot and Facebook, since they are "partners". The URL parameters are an out of the box function with the Partner Integration in Facebook for HubSpot. We dont have the ability to change the url parameters as far as I know. So any url in Facebook that has "hsa_87086997" for example, will be flagged. Which seems like it would be any url in any ad account that has HubSpot and Facebook Ads linked up.
