Creating audiences with demographics, behaviors etc

I'm trying to create audiences in Hubspot that I can use for all my ads. Audiences that I can define demographics, behaviors, and interests, just as I would on Facebook for example.

Is it possible to create audiences like this in Hubspot?
Why don't I see the audiences I already have saved on Facebook?

Thanks for the tag @MiaSrebrnjak!

@sarayg How have you created audiences for Facebook in the past? Have you created them natively on Facebook? If so, you likely won't see those appear in HubSpot as saved audiences you can repurpose.

If you created Facebook audiences in HubSpot, would you mind providing a screenshot of what you see when you click into the Audiences section of your Ads tool?

In terms of created LinkedIn audiences based on demographics, behaviors and interests, my recommendation would be to create an audience based on a contact list.

Based on the data you have in your HubSpot portal, you can create lists based on information like job title, persona, interest area, etc. Keep in mind this is based on the data you have in HubSpot so if you are not collecting this information on forms or otherwise, I would strongly suggest implementing a form strategy or data enrichment tool to gather this information.

In terms of behaviors, you can either create a contact list based on email, ad, social media and even website engagement with fields like:

  • Time of last session
  • First/recent conversion
  • First/recent email open or click
  • First/last page seen
  • Referring website
  • Last ad interaction

You could also build an audience based on website visitors which will allow you to build an audience based on specific page views in a specific timeframe.

Additionally, here are a couple helpful resources for you:

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or need support.

I wanted to tag a couple of subject matter experts to see if they can share some insights into the audiences feature in HubSpot:

Hi  @OPerek-Clark@Jonno_Price@KTownsend, do you have any advice for @sarayg? Thank you!
