Create an event in hubspot for Google Ads without Life Cycle changes

Hey there,
my goal is to create an event in hubspot, that matches to a property (like signup or trial), but we do not have Licecycle changes setup (and are not planning on it). Is there a way to create events without Lifecycle changes?
(1) Hard to say for certain without seeing your HubSpot instance, there may be [old] automation set up. I would test out a few test contacts and monitor their activity feed but in theory, yes this could be used exclusively for reporting.
If you go to edit the Lifecycle Stage property, you can see where it is "Used In" that will give you an idea of if the property would change anything else. (See attached screenshot)
You may limit the impact by creating a new lifecycle stage for "Conversion" or something like that, that way if there are any
(2) I do not beliebe at this time you need enhanced conversions to connect lifecycle stage conversions from Google Ads to Hubspot.
The Turn on enhanced conversions option in your Google conversions settings will also be automatically selected within 48 hours of the first event sync from HubSpot. You do not need to manually turn on this option to sync new or existing conversion events for form submissions.

So if i set up Lifecycle stages, it is just a reporting change, i cannot change something in the properties or do anything else i wouldn´t intend to do, right?
I also already tried to make the connection from hubspot to google ads via zapier. I came to a point, where it says that i need to hace enhanced conversions for Leads set up when making it via zapier. Does the same apply (to this day), when i use Lifecycle stages to connect G Ads and Hubspot? Thanks so much!

If not, have you considered just setting up lifecycle stages for this use case? If you aren't using them for other reporting, you could customize them for these HubSpot events and ignore them otherwise.
You can set up workflows to set the lifecycle stage based on the property values and you can customize the lifecycle stages to meet your needs.
