Aircall with google ads and facebook ads

Hello all!

 

We use aircall as our phone provider, integrated with hubspot. Of course there is no current option for it to track the original source at the moment. e.g. If a user clicks a google ad of ours, then lands on the website and calls us, the contact is created with the number, but this will be registered as OFFLINE Activity. Anyone have any genius ideas on how to get this to register as PAID SEARCH or PAID social etc.

 

This would massively help not to lose sight of campaign perfomance.

It can be done easily with Nimbata. 
Nimbata works seamlessly with Aircall and Hubspot and updates Hubspot objects with UTMs, GCLIDs and call pages.

Hi @Farhan, thanks for getting in touch. 

 

You're correct, HubSpot will categorise Contacts created by Integration as Offline Sources with a drill down of either the Integration name or API Key (documented here). 

 

Due to how Original Source bucketing works, please see my response here it's not possible to alter this property at the point of Contact creation. You can however create a Workflow that enrolls Contacts with a Drill Down 2 or Aircall and then use a Set Property Action to change the Original Source to Paid Search or Paid Social.
