Ad Account Connection

SOLVE

Hi,

So we work with multiple agencies for lead generation campaign on Meta & Google platform. What access should I provide to agency's so that they can connect their ads account with HubSpot for auto sync of the leads.

Can anyone please advise?

Thanks

@ajinkyamurtey when they connect the facebook account to HubSpot, it will ask which account/meta page to connect - only data from that account will come across to HubSpot.

The permissions needed are shown in the screenshot of my previous reply.

I recommend setting up a zoom call with the agency when you provide access and have them share their screen when they configure the ad account so you can verify everything is correct together.

Hi @ajinkyamurtey they would only need permission to publish ads, you can limit all other permissions (make sure you go through each of the CRM options to remove access to contacts, companies, etc.)

Ad Account Connection

@Jnix284 thanks for your response here. So when I say agencies there are multiple agencies and they run meta & google campaign for us on their own ads account. So in order to make sure the leads generated through the ad campaigns I assume I need to connect their ads account in HubSpot then only the records will sync in HubSpot? Please advise.

For Meta - By connecting Ads account records will sync.

For Google - The records comes through landing page form fill and the form is from HubSpot. So do I need to still connect Google ads account?

If yes for both of them then these accounts has to be connected by them only. And which user level access should I provide them for connect ads account? Thanks

Hi @ajinkyamurtey I apologize for the delayed response, I was out sick.

The agency user will need to add the connection to HubSpot and you can start with the Marketing Manager user template, removing permissions as needed:

The primary permissions needed are these:

@Jnix284 thanks for your response. No need to say sorry for late response. I hope you're feeling better now.

I still have a doubt for my the ad account creation. Let me explain you in more detail.

So we have our own Facebook Business Manager Account which has our own ad account and page access to me.

However, we do not run ads through our own meta ad account due to past restrictions of ad account we lost some our meta assets such as our page access. As I said we run meta paid campaigns through the multiple agencies we do provide them admin access to our meta page however recommend them to run ads into their meta ad account.

So if I ask the agencies to connect the ad account to HubSpot then the leads which are generated through their campaigns will those get sync in HubSpot? And for the agency uses which HubSpot user access do I need to provide them?

Please let me know if my question is not clear happy to explain it again. Thanks in advance
