connecting hello@domain.com

SOLVE

Hello, I'm having trouble connecting our support email address hello@domain.com to Hubspot. I need the emails sent to this address (from the website contact form) to appear on Hubspot directly. I've added hello@domain.com  as an email from the "Connect personal email" option. It won't work.

How can I do this?

What you are looking for is a connected Inbox.

Hello @CTurgut Have you connected your domain with hubspot? If not then you must try it from here - https://app-eu1.hubspot.com/settings/26465729/domains (make sure to connect your domain in email sending domain) this way you can send emails from your hubspot with your branded domain name.

Hei @wacmediya - I have a question about this process.

I also want to connect my email to send emails (newsletters) from  newsletter@mydomain.com mail.

The documentation here

https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/manage-email-authentication-in-hubspot#unauthenticated...

shows an image where i get to choose "Email Sending". But in my Settings i dont see that...

I come to the Domain (branded domain) setup.

Which want me, down the process, delete my CNAME and change the A records in My DNS (through Cloudflare) And without much explanation. What i dont get is that this might (or rather will?) cause my site to not be served from where it is located (the CNAME record points to that) ?

So although i understand the Domain should be verified before we add the email that is associated with the domain... this process is not clear to me and makes me worry.

Do you or anyone here has agood guide for this?

Appreciate it a lot!

Best regards,

Levent Ultanur
