Wordpress with Avada not capturing forms with HubSpot plugin

We have a WordPress website built using the Avada theme. One of many websites we have built for our clients. We don't have any different plugins to other website we have that are working just fine.

The formns do not get captured and the contact information from the forms never appears in our HubSpot account.

We saw another post related to using ReCaptcha so we have disabled ReCaptcha to test that scenario. Still no look.

We are receiving email notification from the forms so we know the forms are working.

We have tried disabling almost all of the existing plugins, clearing all the caches and trying again, still no luck.

We have viewwed the source code from the pages, and everything is there.

We have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. Disconnected and reconnected theplugin to HubSpot.

We have also tried to configure the HubSpot built in connection in the Avada plugin and told the forms to send the leads to HubSpot, and that is successfull, but we prefer to use the HubSpot plugin and also get the website visitor activity. This Avada connection is currently disabled for our testing.

Not sure what else to try. If anyone has any thought, they'd be very welcome.

Hi @SimonW,

Have you tried changing the type of form? You know that when you're creating a new form, you have 2 options:

1. Form Editor

2. Legacy Form Editor

If your form is made with the "new form editor" try to duplicate it but with the "Legacy Form Editor".

I did this in a past project I had and it worked.

Let me know if it works 🙂

Oh I see, I had this problem too, and had to integrate it with make.com just to send all the information to Hubspot, after that, I did the form natively in Hubspot with the legacy form editor and it worked.
I don't know why is that :s

That sounds frustrating! Especially when the forms are sending emails but nothing's showing up in HubSpot. Quick question: are you using Avada’s native form builder or another tool like Contact Form 7 or WPForms? If you're using Avada’s, make sure the field names match HubSpot’s default contact properties exactly: like email, firstname, and lastname. I once had an issue where “Full Name” wouldn’t sync until I split it into first and last name. Since you’ve already tested things like reCAPTCHA and plugin conflicts, you might also try embedding a basic HubSpot form on a test page to see if that works and helps pinpoint whether it’s a form issue or something deeper. Let me know which form tool you’re using and I’ll help troubleshoot from there.

Out of curiosity, I went into the Chatflows and created a test chat system for the website to see if it would work and confirm the plugin was working properly. This did work. The chat appeared on the website. We have now removed it.

I have also looked into the debug console and everytrhing appears to be active and firing as expected.

I just wanted to pass this updated and hope someone may have some direction of where we could look next.

Hi @Santiagotv16 ,

We are using the forms in Avada, not HubSpot.

We are relying on the Non-Hubspot forms being captured by the HubSpot plugin.

We use this method on many sites and we've never had an issue.

Thanks

Simon
