Using Meeting from Google Calendar and Personal Email from different provider

Hi,

I would like to integrate "Meetings" with Google Calendar. I'm using a Google account connected to my work email (name@domain.com), NOT based on Google mail (so different than gmail.com).

When I try to integrate Meetings with Google calendar, I get this error: "

Sorry. There was an issue connecting to your account. HubSpot can't access your inbox. Please reconnect your email account."

As email provider to use with Hubspot, I would like to keep my IMAP provider.

So my goal to achive is:

- Meetings connected to Google Calendar (without gmail).

- Email connected to my personal work email (with custom IMAP provider).

How can I achive this goal on Hubspot?

Hey @wallintv 

There isn't a direct to connect your IMAP inbox with your Google Calendar. It would be necessary to connect your gmail inbox in HubSpot associated with the calendar and then connect the google calendar. 

When you connect a calendar to the meetings tool, the associated inbox will connect in your email integration settings. However, once your calendar is integrated, you can disable the inbox connection without disabling the calendar connection.

As far as I can see, it's not possible to use a Google account without Gmail for calendar meetings. Am I right?

that's correct, you will need to connect your gmail account and connect your calendar and then disconnect your inbox.
