Unable to login to Hubspot using Chrome

Two weeks ago, logging into Hubspot using Chrome just stopped, with the below error message.  I have followed the instructions in the "this article" link, and was not succesful. 

 

Have a logged a support ticket, and done as requested - haven't heard back, even after sending 2 follow-up emails.

 

Microsoft Edge has no problems logging me in.

 

Any ideas???

Hi @TraceySmith,

 

Could you elaborate on "done as requested"? Could you confirm you did all of the below?

  • Clear cache/cookies (helps rule out cache related issues)
  • Try private window (stronger way to check cache related issues)
  • Disable all extensions (rules out that extensions are interfering with the login)
  • Try Chrome on a different device (rules out any device-related issues or additional software interfering)

Could you also confirm that you're using vanilla Google Chrome (not a Google Chrome fork or another Chromium based browser), but the official Google Chrome as listed here...

Have you also made sure to check for browser updates?

Thank you for your very useful information - I'll remember this.

What I did was turn off all extensions, then turned them back on one by one - each time logging in and out of Hubspot.

All extensions are now turned back on, and logging in isn't an issue!

Thanks Karsten for a quick response.

 

I had tried all of the above, but went through the steps again.  Very weird outcome.

  1. deleted cache/cookies for all time - not able to login
  2. was able to log in using incognito/private
  3. disabled all extensions, then turned on 1 extension at a time, tested the login - and was successful every time I turned back on an extension.

Not sure what changed, but am now able to log back in using Chrome!
