We are looking at integrating two of our staff into the same gmail account that is already setup on Hubspot. We we're hoping there would be a way in which they can still be broken down into two differant contact/deal owners and be completely setup as differant users despite being the same email address. Is this possible? If so how would it all work.
In all HubSpot tools, one email always corresponds to one person – both for contact records but also for users. It's not possible to invite two users of the same email address, purely for login reasons (user name and password). A user name can only exist once.
If you want to stick with one email address, these two users would have to share a HubSpot account. This is not recommended as it muddies reporting and accountability. (Also, CRM user accounts in HubSpot are free.)
My recommendation would be to set up a separate Gmail account to keep things clean.
Hope this helps!

With one email id, you can create one user account. You cannot break it into two different users. Your two contacts can use the same email id to access the HubSpot account but whatever the access you have granted, you have granted it to the id, so both persons will have the same access as they are using the same id.
