Recently I realize that the default setting for the task reminder is set to be “no reminder” where it used to default with an email reminder with notification.
Although I can manually change it each time with a desired reminder (if I remember), I am wondering if anyone know how to change this setting back?
I checked my account setting and it does not seem there is anything I can do. Help please.

I'm also having this same issue - I'd like to be able to set tasks to default to remind, having an email just clogs up my inbox and makes it more likely I'm going to miss a task. Appreciate that HubSpot is looking into this - look forward to a solution!

Hi There,
Is there any solution for this issue yet?

Hi @BStanley
Thank you for reaching out.
There is no update or now since I last posted, at the moment your best next step will be to use the daily digest with steps explained here as well as subscribing to the Idea here to get notified when there is an update from the product team.
Thank you
Best
Tiphaine

We are also having the same issue. The default has been changed to not send email reminders. I am unable to find a setting to change it back. I get addressing the users that didn't want this to be the default behavior, but our sales people built their workflow around this. It would be nice to have the ability to set the default behavior.

Hi @pdavis
Thank you for reaching out
I understand how it can be an isue for you. Here is the explanation from our PM. I also want to quote them here for the following:
Also, HubSpot now sends a daily email digest of all the tasks you have due in a given day. If you're not currently receiving this daily email digest, head to Settings>Notifications>Tasks> Select "Tasks daily digest". A daily digest will show up in your inbox at 8 AM and ensure you are still notified about any tasks you have due daily.
Product Team also clarified that in the coming months, we'll enable you to customize task defaults like due date, time, and reminders. If interested in this capability, track this idea to see when this goes live.
I hope it helps!
Best
Tiphaine

Hi @LChien,
I am not aware of a setting to change the default task reminder. I may be mistaken, but I don't believe there has been a change in the defaults for this...it appears the same as it always has for me.

We are also having this same issue @ Clicksit and is resulting in a lot of missed tasks across the team in the process - now the problem has been identified, we can avoid, but very clunky process now and is still result in tasks being missed - please advise a solution for this - thanks

As PDavis has mentioned, I can see no method or changing this back to default to ensure emails are sent with reminders.
Any help with this will be much appreciated
