Single product book & multiple pricing books => Business Units?
SOLVE
Dear Hubspot Experts,
Our company is operating in different regions (Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, etc.) We have a single product book but multiple pricing books (one for every region). Also different regions have different GTM strategies and corresponding campaigns, sales processes, etc.
Although the brand is the same, would having Business Units for every region solve our pricing/processes configuration challenges or are there work-arrounds in a single configuration or maybe even a third alternative?
I don't see Business units as your best ally here,
it will only mean doing all the work 3x.
You can really take advantage of smart content changing depending on the region, for example, prices and promotions adjusting automatically depending on the contacts country/region. This usually saved a lot of time and effort for our customers using HubSpot for Marketing, Sales and the CMS (website).
As for prices, you can have multiple currencies in your HubSpot portal and apps like DoCurrencies (3rd party) can help you update daily the exchange rate for your deals.
Using quotes for B2B may be more manual when having different promotions and special prices by region but there also some work-around for this.
Hope this helps

Hello Lucila,
Thank you for your quick and clear answer. I will definitely be looking into the smart content, multiple currency and B2B quote work-arounds before opting for business units. Your answer has pointed me into the right direction. Thank you.
Just as you described quote•hapily lets you define a price book for each region (with multiple currencies, if desired) and set the price for each product/price book. You don't need to duplicate your products!
