Please enter a recipient error. Occuring on Hubspot App when replying to inbox. Just Updated the Ap

SOLVE

Just updated the Hubspot App to the latest version on my Iphone 11 Pro.


Now, when I 'reply' to conversations in the inbox an error message is popping up "Please enter a recipient."

 

This issue only occured after updating the Hubspot App. I have replicated it 3 times now.

2x Iphone 11 Pro

1x Iphone 13 Pro

ERROR:

Before the update it used to say "Email"

After the update it now says "Reply" but you can't reply.

 

Can somebody please help.

Thank you for reaching out. 

 

Could you try the following: 

 

  • Force Quitting
    • Force quit the app by following the steps in this article
    • Navigate to Settings > HubSpot > Ensure Background updates is enabled
      • If Caller Id is enabled, go to Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification
    • Go back and restart the app
  • Deleting & Re-Downloading

 

If this is still happening, could you confirm if this is happening with any conversations or only some of them? Is this also happening when you compose a net new email in the conversations inbox or only for replies?

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything you listed and it is still not
working.

This is happening to every single message in the inbox.



When clicking on their contact at the top and clicking on the email icon
to compose an email. That part works.



Is there anything else to try?

Update:
Logging into the Desktop version and replying works ok.
It's just not working on the Mobile Hubspot app.
