Permissions Issue

SOLVE

Hi - I was made a Core user from my admin but I still do not have access to basic things like making calls and sending emails from hubspot - we have scrubbed all of the settings we can think of and cannot find the missing link to getting me (semi) full access to sales properties. I also cannot edit contacts or companies much less create new ones nor edit deals and create tasks. I had the ability yesterday and all of a sudden my permissions changed. Please help, I am stuck doing this rather than actual sales and marketing.

What do you mean when you say "access to sales properties"?

 

You need to look at the various permission settings outlined here in order to do some.of the things you've outlined.

 

When you say you "do not have access to basic things like making calls and sending emails" - what does that look like?

 

  • Are the options greyed out?
  • Are the options there but you get a prompt?
  • Do you not even see the option to make a call or send an email?

Would be helpful to share a few screenshots of what you are seeing (or not for that matter).

to access sales features you need a sales seat not a core seat.

and then with the right seat, your admin. We'd to review your permissions to the CRM view or edit contacts/companies/deals etc.

you can share a screenshot of your permits and maybe we can guide you better.
