Permission to set Disqualified/Lost Leads to a different stage

SOLVE

There are some cases that we need to set the Disqualified/Lost Leads back to a different stage like working in Leads Object.

Currently, Super Admin can do this. We need to give this permission to specific Sales Managers.

Is there a specific user permission that we can give Sales Manager users (Sales Pro seat), without giving them the Super Admin permission?

If not, is there a workaround for this?disq.PNG

Permission to set Disqualified/Lost Leads to a different stage

SOLVE

Hi @AAdmin7,

No, at the moment this is not possible, see here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/manage-leads-in-the-prospecting-workspace#manage-leads

Please note: after a lead has moved to Qualified or Disqualified, only a super admin can edit the lead stage.

As far as workarounds go, the simplest option, in my opinion, would be for the sales rep to message a super admin – or to create a new lead.

If you want to request more granular permission options, I'd recommend submitting a request in the HubSpot ideas section of the community: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas

You could work around this with a workflow.  Allowing you sales and customer service staff to update the Lead and re-open it.  In context of the need from a service standpoint, sometimes our customer service staff will hear back from the contact after they have disqualified the Lead (simply timing from the potential client), so they set the attribute to jog the workflow to re-open the Lead.

Creating a new lead is the better option, in my opinion. This is the whole point of the lead object if you ask me. It allows the sales reps. BDRs to close a lead that is considered not qualified at a certain time but might be qualified in the future to manage them as a separate lead. I would automate this.
