Permission sets only available at the Enterprise level

SOLVE

In today's high security environments it is utterly amazing that HubSpot restricts the creation of permission sets ONLY to it's enterprise customers.  This is ludicrous in light of current best practices.  This should be allowed across ANY paid subscription.

I know it is not ideal that permission sets can only be created with an Enterprise subscription. One workaround I found in this post https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Account-Settings/Is-There-a-Way-to-Create-Team-Permissions/m-p/7378... mentioned by @danmoyle is by creating teams and limiting access to the specific tools/content assets by team. However, I understand this isn't exactly what you're looking for.

 

I do see the value in being able to create permission sets across all tiers and I recommend posting this request to our Ideas Forum! We use it to collect ideas on how we can improve the product for our customers. Feel free to send me a link if you post and I'll be happy to upvote!

Permission sets are critical to any system used by mutliple individuals in a company.  We utilize ConnectWise and not everyone has full permissions to delete companies and contacts.  Basic security at a granualar level should be a MINIMUM in any application.  Sales Force has it and even Keap has it.  It is amazing that HubSpot does not provide this across ALL levels.   I want sales people to have the ability to add, modify but NOT delete companies and contacts as an example.  The default settings built into the "basic" HubSpot does not allow for that.
