Outlook log in - verification window closing instantly

Using hubspot for 6 months and no issues.

Today in outlook it asks me to log in.  I do so.

But then it says I must enter a verification code - which is sent instantly via email to me and received.

But the popup window to enter the code into closes instantly as it opens.  So no opportunity to enter the code.

I've checked and allowed popups.

I've reconnected the email address in hubspot.

I've tried relogging into my outlook.

Chat help have pointed me here - so can anyone help me please?

I fixed this by adding 2 Factor Authentication to my Hubspot account.

 

This means when I log in Hubspot reverts to either Google Auth or SMS for me to verify my account and not the hubspot verficiation code.

 

When google auth code box comes up it stays open log enough for me to enter my code, unlike the hubspot code box.  

 

Not sure if this is ideal - but it now means I can log into my account within outlook and track my email correspondence correctly.
