My old account still shows up in gmail and in the hubspot extension

SOLVE

I have removed my old accounts but when I open gmail, the hubspot extension is still showing a connection to my old account...

 

I'm logged into gmail with my new email address

 

Hovering opver the hubspot icon still shows a connection to the old account.

 

I have followed the instructions exactly on how to remove accounts and I have restarted/re-installed the extension multiple times.

Generally speaking, the solution to this issue is to change the portal that your HubSpot account is connected to. You can find instructions on how to do this in this article: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/account/how-to-connect-hubspot-sales-with-hubspot...

 

Even if the correct portal is showing in your settings, please re-select this correct portal, and save your changes. Then, click on the following link: http://app.getsidekick.com/restart

 

This should allow your extension to be connected to the correct portal. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties!

Also a problem for me. Very annoying!

I have deleted the hubspot app connected to my personal account but the extension still appears.

Any solution would be great please!

Worked great for me too! I still have a bit of a mess to clean up (somehow ended up with 4 extra free accounts) but now everything is talking to each other & I can deal with the rest later... Thanks for the great support article.
