Curious to know how one could create a custom property calculation for avg close days between opening a deal and closing it filtered by the sales rep? Now I know we have avg deal time but I cant seem to find a way to create this specific to the sales rep instead of just the pipeline.
It's not possible to create a calculation per rep within a property. You could however display the Days to Close property by sales rep in a custom report.
To do so, navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Single object > Deals.
Under Add Deal Property, find Days to Close and Deal owner. Then click Filters on the upper left and specify your time frame.
Continue by clicking into the Visualization tab, and drag and drop Deal owner and Days to Close into the Displaying area. Change the Days to Close measure from Total to Average, pick a chart type and you should be set:
