Error message "Something went wrong" on Collaboration Integrations

lösung

Hello,

I'm trying to setup Hubspot to receive notification on a dedicated Slack channel, when a Deal is updated on the board (deal closing date, meeting schedule, call logged, notes added, and other similar events) but following all the guidelines received from the Hubspot support chat, I still see this error and I'm not receiving any notification on the slack channel.

You can see the error on the attached screenshot.

Can you please tell me if someone solved this issue?

Thank you.

Hi @FPiombo! That is the setting to bring Email conversations to Slack (KB). The only other option you'd have in this case is to set up user notifications as noted here. If it is not listed in the options to be notified about Deal changes, a Professional subscription would be required to use workflows to set up custom notifications.

Best,
Kennedy

Hi Kennedy,

thank you for your fast feedback!

I'm not interested in receiving notifications when someone emails me, but I still don't have a Professional or Enterprise plan (I think in the future), so I can not use Workflow right now, and I'm looking for a solution that is okay also on the free plan.

I configured Slack, but it's still not working. The Slack configuration that I can set is attached (I don't have other settings 😞 ).

Thank you.

Hi Kennedy, thank you for your reply.

So you mean that if I don't have a Professional account, I can not be notified in a dedicated Slack public channel if a deal changes on Hubspot, is it correct?

Ok thank you for your feedback. This means that I will have to use a different software for this kind of process. Thank you anyway 🙂

Hi @FPiombo! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

From your screenshot, it looks like you are trying to set up notifications from your Conversations Inbox (Knowledge Base article) as opposed to when Deals are updated. Is your goal to also get notifications when someone emails you in that channel?

Otherwise, we likely need to look at the Slack integration settings (Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps > Slack). Verify that integration is all configured as outlined here. Then, if I am not mistaken, you may need to automate custom Slack notifications from your HubSpot account using workflows (KB).

I'd also like to invite some experts to add to this discussion. Hey @gabriel-nextiny, @Anton, @franksteiner79 could you confirm my reply here just to be sure I am on track? Also, if you have any other tips or tricks to enabling Slack notifications about Deal object changes, please let us know!

Best,
Kennedy
