I reinstated the user, then gave changed the email address to something different, then updated the original user email address to the one i wanted and it let me do it.
I then deleted the second user as i didnt need it.
My current email ID is rohan@goipos.com ............and need to change to rohan@ipointofsale.com I had a previous account with rohan@ipointofsale.com and have deleted it so I can change my email ID But still I get below message It looks like there’s another user with the email address “rohan@ipointofsale.com”. If the user account is yours, you’ll need to delete it before you can use the email address in this account.
The requested solution is for changing an email address for a contact. But not for an User (Settings > Users and teams). Hubspot says that email address is already in use by another user. How to restore a user (not a contact) and merge those two?
Were you able to get this resolved? I was able to delete a test user and reinvite them again multiple times. Were you trying to delete and readd the user during the recent outage?
@Pletman Unfortunately there's not a way to merge HubSpot users at the account level like their is Contacts within an account.
