Email Notifications (Now not working)

This week we've noticed one member off staff now not recieving notifications via email when he is tagged inside hubspot, which is causing us to question our CRM and to start looking at others. 

Can anyone offer any help on this to nip this in the bud asap before we start actually exploring other options for CRMs are leave hubspot.
