Do you have to have unique domains for each business unit?

Can a business unit use the same domain as the primary account or do it have to have it's own domain?

Have already viewed:

You could connect two different subdomains on the same second-level domain (ex. blog.website.com and info.website.com) on seperate BUs, though you wouldn't be able to have something like blog.website.com connected to multiple BUs.

Hi @BAdair7

For website assets, I'm 99% sure you have to have a unique brand domain per business unit, but you don't have to have one associated to all of the business units (only the main BU would see those assets).

For email sending domain, it can be the same or different, depending on the type of emails you're sending, it'd likely need to be different.

Are you trying to share assets across the business units using a single domain?

I don't have a case study to share, hopefully someone else in the community has something to share!
