Difference between a Sales Enterprise Seat and No Seat

SOLVE

Hi all,

I was wondering-- what are the core differences between me assigning a sales rep a Sales Enterprise Seat and not assigning them a seat.

I know there are a lot of features, many of which we don't fully use right now. If I add a sales rep/user and don't assign them a seat, what are their limitations especially around deals? Can they still:

  1. Create/close/edit deals?
  2. Engage with contacts and log activities?
  3. Be affected by workflows I (an admin) create on their teams behalf?
    1. e.g. prospect books demo, and non-seat sales rep gets notified and does the demo

Those are just examples of what I'm curious about. I'm asking because I want to thoughtfully use the limited Sales Ent. seats we have. I don't want to assign it to someone if they absolutely wont be needed it or using its full capabiltiies.

Thank you!

Hi @Vasiki on the pricing page, you can look for this symbol of a person to find the features that require a seat:
