Default outbound email full name has typo
SOLVE
Hey Team!
I'm not sure if I found a bug in hubspot or if I'm not finding where I placed a typo.
When I setup my company name, I had a typo in it. No big deal, found it, fixed it. When I attempt to contact a client through the CRM, the outbound email address has the typo in it. I traced this down to a specifc parameter on the mailbox, the company name field has the value with a typo in it. It appears this is not updating once I changed the Account Name. (Are there batch sync jobs on the backend that update these?)
Found and fixed Typo in Company Name:
Settings -> Account Settings -> Account Defaults -> Company Name
Found and observed Account Name fix was not applied downrange.
Settings -> Tools -> Inboxes -> Channels -> Name [email address] (Mouse over and click Edit) -> Configuration -> Send From -> Company Name (Has typo that was corrected earlier)
Observe proof the typo exists live after an update:
CRM -> Contacts -> [Select contact] -> Click Email (on top left frame) -> Observe From field (This is where the typo is)

Is the mailbox name value set anywhere? I am not able to find how to update this.
You can edit the Company Name value right below it, I did not notice this. This fixed the issue.
Hard to say if this is a bug, I can see the merits for hubspot not updating this automatically. It will overwrite any custom configuration users already have for this value.
