Confused about different accounts

Hello

 

I assume this is a simple problem, but I just didn't find the answer yet.

 

I do have two hubspot accounts.

 

1. Here I can switch between the sales and marketing panel. On this account I also "host" all contacts and sending the emails to. This account is connected (ID in Wordpress) to our general site. (B2C)

 

2. On the second account I only have the marketing panel. This account is for our subdomain that is dedicated to B2B customers.(ID in wordpress). When setting up Hubspot (Account1) we didn't have yet this B2B site. 

 

So far so good. 

 

Now I realised this sweet tool "prospects" which I think is great. But it seems that it only tracks visitors from our B2C site. (I also can access this tool only from Account1). 

 

So how get I the visitors from the second account to show up here? Or do I need to add to the second account again the CRM/Sales Tool? If so how would that work?

 

Would be great if someon could help me on this.

Hi @PSid,

 

It sounds like you're ultimately looking to enable the free CRM on your second, Marketing-only portal. This article will instruct you on how to do this: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/hubspot-crm/what-settings-do-i-need-to-enable-in-...

 

Once you've gone through these steps, you should be able to toggle over to the Sales section, where you'll be able to access Prospects.

Indeed, in this situation the best thing to do would be to export all of your contacts, companies and deals from the B2C CRM, and import them into the B2B CRM.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I already tried this before, but then it didn't work. Don't know why, but this time it set up a new CRM. Great 🙂

 

I would like to ask you an other question.

 

So basically I do have now one account for our B2C site and one for our B2B site.

 

Unfortunatly I have all the company informations, deals, contacts, lists and so in our B2C account. Cause as I mentioned we just recently launched the B2B site. 

 

So now I would need to export/import all the contacts, companies, deals, conversations… into this new account right?

 

Can you tell me what's the best practice on this?
