Cannot create a user with a specific email address

Hello,

 

I am trying to create a new user to the team, but for a specific email address it keeps rejecting my request. For the rest of the email addresses, I can successfuly create the user. 

I get the following error:

Yes, I am typing the email and I have also tried the CVS uploading methods. Nothing works.

Hi @MKyriacou8. Here are a few resources I found from similar questions:

  • Can you try logging into your HubSpot account using a private browser session/new incognito window. If you are able to login in this environment than its likely a caching issue. You will then need to clear your cache following this article then log out and log back in.
  • If that does not work, can I have you try a different browser to see if this is browser specific?
  • Certain extensions have been known to directly impact some of the tools within HubSpot. I would recommend disabling your browser extensions one by one to see if any of them are causing a backend conflict. Could you please disable your extensions? You can find here how to do this.

It's also possible that if you're copying and pasting and email, there may be a space in front of the email address. Have you checked to make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces around the email address when trying to add them as a user?

Hello, 

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to clean up the cashe and open an incognito window as well. Again, Hubspot does not accept the email.

Hi @MKyriacou8,

 

Could you try deleting cache / cookies or using another browser?

 

If the problem persists, I'd recommend logging a ticket with HubSpot support. It looks like you're on a Starter subscription, email support is included.

 HubSpot support sent me here and nothing works
