Cannot Delete Contacts

Hi There ... I have setup a permission set for our sales reps that originally granted them Edit, Delete access to only their contacts.  

I have since modified this to Everyone but I have found that Sales Reps still cannot delete contacts.  This includes those not yet assigned and even those that are assigned to them as the owner.

How do we resolve this?

Just to clarify whether we're talking about the same thing: You're referring to deleting individual contacts directly from their contact record pages?

When did you make those changes and how long after did the sales reps try?

Have you made sure that the sales reps are all assigned the permission set?

Yes. They are trying to delete it 2 ways. Checking the record in the Contacts view and the delete there is greyed out. Same with if they open the Contact Details.
I made the change over a week ago. Tried today and one user is unable to delete any of the contacts.

Hi @SJackson29,

Deleting from the contact index page (Menu > Contacts > Contacts) probably falls under Bulk deletion which is a separate permission:

What exactly do you mean when you say "Contact Details"? The contact record?

Thanks that is what I did to fix it.

Yes that is what I meant. Okay ... I've enabled Bulk Delete. They said it was also happening on the individual Contact Record but maybe they just didn't understand where the delete was there.
