Can't connect my iCloud account

I am trying to connect an iCloud email account and I just can't get it to work.  It gets to the page where it asks for both the IMAP and SMTP server adresses and yet I CAN NOT find that on my Mac.  I can easily find the settings page in my mail account but the requested data just isn't visible.  Seems like this ought to be simpler.

I wanted to share this help article from Apple regarding IMAP and SMTP server addresses for iCloud email addresses. Here's a guide on how to find IMAP and SMTP information on a Mac as well. 

 

We would recommend reviewing the technical requirements for IMAP with your IT team. You must meet all of the technical requirements before you can connect.
