Assistance Needed: Migrating Data from Free to Professional HubSpot Instance

Hello HubSpot Community,

We are facing a challenge with migrating data between two HubSpot instances and would appreciate your guidance. Here is our situation:

We have two HubSpot instances:

1. A Professional license for our main business website.
2. A Free instance for another business, which is a DBA of the main website.

We now want to migrate all of our data from the Free instance to the Professional instance. Based on my research, I understand that there are a couple of approaches:

1. Manual Export and Import:

   • We can manually export and then import some of our data (contacts, lists).
   • This approach also requires us to manually copy our Sequences and email templates and then recreate them in the Professional instance.

2. Third-Party Integration Apps:

   • We could use third-party integration apps to automate some of this migration.
   • Our concern here is data integrity—are these third-party apps safe to use?

I have a few specific questions:

• Data Integrity with Third-Party Apps: Are third-party integration apps safe for migrating data without risking data integrity?
• HubSpot Assistance: Can the HubSpot team or our account manager assist us with this migration? Do they have any other recommended solutions?
• Conversation Migration: Most importantly, how can we save/migrate our conversations?

Any advice or insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
