Add User Error - Super Admin

SOLVE

I have just created my hubspot account and am trying to add another user. I am currently on the free tier and have used 1/2 seats. It says I am a super admin, however when I try to add a user it says I don't have permissions. I have tried the usual troubleshooting, logging out and in, clearing browser history and cache etc.. but no luck. Has anyone experienced this or know how to help?

@TBird you can't add users until the account verification is complete, this happens when the domain associated with your account is verified.

Does your email address for your user match the domain you've added to the account? Do you have a website live on the domain?

Hi Jennifer, we have a website matching the domain in the email address. Is there any further domain setup needed? If so please can you advise how to do this?

@TBird are you planning to connect the domain to HubSpot to build a new website or is there already a website live at that domain?

If you are building a new website and connecting the domain (no current website) then connecting the DNS should resolve the issue because it verifies ownership.

If you already have a live website, that should be enough to verify that it's legitimate.
