Unable to setup account

I am a college professor and have my students earn the HubSpot Content Marketing certification through HubSpot Academy during the semester. This semester some of my students are having difficulty setting up their free HubSpot accounts in order to take the certification exam. They are using the link in the email they receive to confirm their email address, but when they try to log into their account it says that the email doesn't exist.  They have tried different browsers.  Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

If your students cannot log into their portals, they can try the steps outlined here (and if they are still stuck, they can fill out the form at the bottom of the article).
