I am programatically creating quotes based on deal stage via a workflow and webhook. With the API, I can generate the Line Item, associate it, the deal, the template, AND the contact I need to sign, and turn on eSignature with the "hs_esign_enabled": 'true'.
I am handling emailing out the Quote to the Contact with my code.
The ONLY thing that is missing is making that contact signature required. I imagine this property might live on the many to many Quote to Contact association (HUBSPOT_DEFINED = 69), but I can not access this.
I know you all state that eSignature is not operational via the API, but it is almost functional. Do you all have a timeframe on eSignature functionality? It would make our Finance Director's life a lot easier.
Hey, @BEAutoBot. Thanks for your question. As you noted, this is not possible via the Quotes API — Limitations.
I understand this is not the reply you are wanting. I passed along your feedback and this post to my internal resources. If you have a moment, adding your suggestion to the Ideas Community and getting some upvotes will be very helpful in getting your suggestion in front of the Product team.
