& MS Business Central Integration

Hi - I am close to commecning a project for a 2-way synch (contacts, companies and deals to begin with) from MS Business Central (Advanced) with HubSpot.

I wanted to have a chat with someone who had been through this same project, maybe understand the pros/cons and pitfalls.

Can anyone help?

Hey @GLeigh@ABeian@Jaycee_Lewis, seems like I’m late to the party, but just wanted to jump in here.

If you're looking to integrate HubSpot with Microsoft Business Central, it's definitely possible to go far beyond syncing just deals or contacts.

With the right integration platform (like MARINI, which I work with), you can sync any object between the two systems including standard records like contacts, customers deals, products, invoices, and also custom tables in BC. The integration is API-based and fully customizable, so you can define:

  • Which objects sync (e.g. quotes, orders, items, etc.)

  • When and how data flows, including conditional logic

  • How fields are transformed or mapped (e.g. combining fields, formatting dates, assigning owners, etc.)

It also supports bi-directional sync, handles complex data structures, and scales well for enterprise use cases.

Just wanted to share in case others here are exploring similar setups or looking for more flexibility than prebuilt solutions offer. Happy to elaborate if helpful!

Check out our Microsoft integrations here.

Best,
Marc

Did you get an answer to this? I am getting ready to start something very similar related to integrating with Business Central.

No but I am almost through the implementation of this integration.  The API is being built as we speak.  Happy to have a chat if that helps?  My email is ged.leigh@themarketingcentre.com

Hi,

Hope getting a notification for my reply won't get the hopes us too much, because I am pitching in just to say I am too very interested in hearing any and all about bridging HubSpot and Business Central!

Our current major road block is that it seems the out of the box integration only support Contacts sync.

In reality, playing with it seems that it also indirectly supports Companies, by being able to pull properties of the associated Company.

However, the object we are interested in, the Deal, does not seem to be supported at all.

Now, we're early into exploring alternatives, 3rd party connectors, API integration, etc.

Nothing concrete just yet, wanted to write in the hopes this will increase visbility for this topic.

Thanks!

Hi, @GLeigh 👋 Thanks for posting this type of question. Let's see if we can get the conversation going — hey @Mike_Eastwood @himanshurauthan @crispyGTM @lynton have you tackled anything similar in your client work?

Best,

Jaycee
