Zapier says, "The OAuth token used to make this call expired"

SOLVE

Created a lovely hack using zapier to bridge Calendly and Hubspot. Went to test it with team members and it stopped working. On the Hubspot task, Zapier gave me the error message "The OAuth token used to make this call expired 10 hour(s) ago." The troubleshooting docs vaguely mentions permissions but it wasn't very helpfulScreen Shot 2020-06-03 at 9.14.10 AM.png

Support just come back to me. They updated their App today, here is the fix. Try reconnecting your HubSpot account here: https://zapier.com/app/connections.

Worked for me. Good luck!

This has been happening to me for over a week.    It keeps telling me the token has expired, when I know I generate a new one every hour.  I made this call at 6:00AM EST -- the give back an expire error -- but the expiration in the error result is hours in the future.  Really frustrating and not sure how to fix.

Are you guys still having the same issue? Mine just did it again and I had to reconnect... again.

Zapier rolled back the zap to the previous version which sorted it for me. This is the response I had from them:

I wanted to give you an update here - our team has been taking a look at this OAuth token expiring issue and we have reverted the HubSpot update that was released yesterday. This is the short term fix, so that Zaps can continue running and don't get any error messages when the token expires.

Longer term, our team will take a look at what caused the issue here and help get that resolved so that when HubSpot updates their app, there will not be any issue like this.

You may want to confirm that your HubSpot connection is up to date so that going forward, the correct OAuth token can refresh as expected.

Sorry for the trouble here, please do keep me updated if you have any further issue or have any questions I can help with!

hi

I have the same issue, again few hours ago.

The main issue I have for now is much more major : the Hubspot app was completely removed from my Apps list ! Whithout any action coming from me...

Regarding that, of course, none of my ZAPs are working 😞

I can' retrieve data for more than 10h now 😞

I tried to install again the Hubspot app, but with mention "deprecated" (don't remember to see this mention 1 week ago when I install the app for the first time).

But when I tried to use this 'new' app within my ZAPs, I can't find it .... no more Hubspot app available in the ZAP itself.

Did you experiment the same issue ? did you solve it ??

Hi @jpp,

Are you still experiencing this issue?

It looks like you have connected with HubSpot Technical Support regarding this matter. As troubleshooting this further will involve sharing information specific to your account, partnering with them will be the best next step.

Take care!

Jess

Yes Jessica, that was a big issue for me... no access anymore to Hubspot app is a big problem..

App was back around 24H after shutdown but was not yet accessible within the ZAPs itselves after many hours.

But, I'm not experiencing anymore the issue since a few minutes now, so completely KO during 34h ... too much time 😞 !

I had this same issue this morning. I was able to relink and it seems to be working for now. Hopefully it doesn't keep disconnecting.

The accepted solution does not work for more than 24 hours. I have had to manually reconnect the Zapier HubSpot App to HubSpot 3 times since the update they made yesterday.

Yep. Reconnected and it mostly works. Hard to validate success as HS has diabled some features while they work through their performance issues.

Quite relieved! Our zaps just started failing with the same issue. Looks like Hubspot has had some technical difficulties today as well.

Hopefully they'll fix it soon as we are on stop.
