Zapier replace contact owner id with contact owner name

SOLVE

I'm creating a zap that will sync all new leads created in Hubspot to a Google Spreadsheet. All fields are correctly set up except Contact Owner which only appears as Contact Owner ID, how do I make this the Contact Owner's name instead?

The trigger I'm using is Hubspot_Owner_ID because I can't find one that gives me the Contact Owner name. Even though in Hubspot it's correctly assigned to a contact.

Help please.

Zapier replace contact owner id with contact owner name

SOLVE

Hi @JReyes28,

I haven't done this exact thing, but a couple of thoughts:

  • Create a contact owner property name that uses if/then in a HubSpot workflow to map accordingly
  • Use some sort of conditional formatting/formulas on the Google sheets side
  • Use branching logic in Zaps before it's sent to sheets

These are my initial thoughts, @dennisedson. Thanks for the ping!

Hi @Josh

I'm struggling with the same issue and was wondering if you could show some screengrabs of the points you mention.

Thanks,

Dean.
