Why do the files API endpoints and most of the other API endpoints have zero flexibility in search?
I mean, really, .... ?
For searching and managing files we didn't think maybe just maaaayyybbbeee we should add some basic filtering options.
You added all of these to something as useless as blog post author searching, but not for literal file searching?
Seriously?
No ability to filter by multiple types:
- what if i want all raster images vs vector?
No ability to do operators for names, etc:
- __icontains, __ etc ? Really?
And any of the many many other cases I could give if you had just added basic operators. I will never understand why you guys insist on consistently shooting your products in the foot but making your boxes too small.

come on guys. this was a literal no brain-er.
To address the lack of flexibility in the files API endpoints and other API endpoints, we should implement comprehensive filtering and search capabilities. This would include the ability to filter files by type (e.g., raster images versus vector images) and support for operators like __icontains for more refined searches. Adding these features would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of the API, allowing users to manage and search for files more effectively. Implementing basic operators and filtering options would prevent the frustration users experience with the current limitations and improve overall satisfaction with the product. This improvement is essential for making the API more robust and user-friendly.

How very HR.
Maybe we can have a pizza party and a ping pong table too and then hold hands after. \s
Imagine if tech companies could actually do their job. That'd be crazy right? Craaazzyyyy
Oh wait, HubSpot isn't a tech company. It's just a marketing company trying to do tech and failing one react fanboy hire at a time while degrading the web a little more daily.
Maybe if there was less focus on trendy marketing AI upsells, which are absolutely disastrous with zero value, and had a little acumen on things that actually function the user base wouldn't experience these issues.
