Recently, the Academy launched Working with HubSpot CRM API which I encourage you to check out. This got me thinking. What would you like to see more of? Are the particular topics that are either not covered or are not covered deeply enough? Are the topics covered in a way that is most helpful to you? How do you best digest new information?
Here's a handful of loose and flimsy thoughts that are likely just due to my inexperience with hubspot so far. Forgive me if some of these are out there already and I just haven't found them yet. Will happily look at any replies of new data 😄
Posts or guides on creative uses of Hubspots current objects. Prior to the new custom objects, I had to add 'tracking info' on deals. Had no idea on how to do it without custom objects, until I read an interview on a hubspot employee who was asked this for a different need and they stated to use Tickets with some defined Pipelines and Statuses. They had mentioned something about folks getting hung up on the naming of things instead of their potential uses.
Hubspot curated 'things devs should to do for X business types' list. There's plenty of blog and forum posts about hubspot best practices from the marketing and sales side of things, but it'd be interesting to see and read on what a hubspot recommended things to have list done on a developer side would look like.
Updated SDK kickstart examples with minor extensions. I'm specifically asking for .NET examples, as some of those examples are years old and there's no examples of some of the current newer additions added since the git repo was made (engagements for example). Not that things are hard to figure out (the docs are fantastic), but for others just starting out, samples of each type in that repo might be useful.
