Updating the Hubspot-Salesforce Connector Managed Package

I have a client that has the Hubspot managed package installed that is version 2.60.1 years ago in their org. Since it is a managed package, I assumed that it was going to update itself. 

Since it seems that the current version is 3.0, how would I go about upgrading it?

Also, what is the main difference between the two versions?

The document doesn't give exact steps, only that the upgrade is manages on the Salesforce side, via your Installed Packages in Salesforce. It also details what to do if you receive an Insufficient Privileges error.
