Update Deal Property Source >> Zapier

Hi!

When a deal property gets updated, we can track who updated the property by clicking details and noting the source. I want to know whether there is a way to print that source into a deal property so that its visible in zapier. The long term goal would be that deal property change triggers an action in zapier, but then it could be filtered out and zap stopped if source was API. I was told to enquire whether this could be achieved with a webhook trigger?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Best, Hugo

Thanks for the tag @dennisedson, but I don't think this is currently possible.  In Zapier, you can only see if a property was changed, not who or what it was changed by.  @HPuf, I think this would require custom dev work to see what changed the property outside of HubSpot Workflows or Zapier.

Update Deal Property Source >> Zapier

Hi @HPuf ,

Unfortunately, you can't update source using api because this is read only property.

Hope this helps!

Update Deal Property Source >> Zapier

Hi Webdew,

I was not hoping to change source, just capture it.

e.g

Hubspot detail change trigger >> Filter if source does not contain API
