Unwanted space in subject line for personalized token

Hello! I'm having an ongoing problem where the subject line is showing a space before a personalized token. It's rendering correctly in the email but not in the subject line. Could this possible have something to do with the formatting of the json? 

Should it just read {"property":"REWARDS_POINTS", "value": "3,083"}

In order for me to further troubleshoot this, could you share with me the following:

1. Your portal ID

2. The email name/ID in question?

Hello! 444443 and it's happening to all email IDs and 10 other fields, but right now we are looking at REWARDS_POINTS. The subject line is rendering the space before the the personalized token, but looks good in the email itself.

I tried it out on my end using hstest1 email and I'm not seeing any space on the subject line when I insert the REWARD_POINTS personalization token:

Are we doing something differently?
