I’m working on a public app in my developer portal and need to build a UI Extension (sidebar panel). I don’t see the UI Extension menu — can you enable the beta for my app or portal?

Hi @HBang ,

To access the UI Extensions (e.g., to build a sidebar panel) for your public app.

Here’s how you can do that:

1. Visit the https://developers.hubspot.com/build-app-cards URL

2. Click “Join the Beta” on that page.

3. Choose your developer's account.
   Once opted in, you should see the UI Extensions section in your app's settings within the developer portal. Let me know if it still doesn’t appear — happy to help further!

Hey, @HBang You might trying going to the Product Updates page in your portal and searching for "UI Extensions" I found several options there, including one that is already live and out of beta. 

Can you search there and let me know if you find a match, please?

Thank you for following up! When I click "Join the Beta" I'm led to a page that says "product page no longer exists" and the UI Extensions section didn't appear within the developer portal.

I'm confused because when I try to access my personal access key, I get led to this page, which leads me to the same "product page no longer exists" message. How can I generate a personal access key for my developer account?

Thank you, I was able to join the Beta! However, now when I click on 'Personal Access Keys' or 'Projects', the screen says "You don't have access to this." Is there a way around this?

Hi @HBang, it will take 30 min approx for the changes to reflect on to "Personal access keys" page.
