Trying to delete a custom object and keep getting this error

I'm trying to delete a custom object from my account, but keep getting this error when I go to delete the schema:

category: "VALIDATION_ERROR",
subCategory: "ObjectSchemaError.EXISTING_OBJECT_RECORDS"

Any ideas?

Hey, @peterluba 👋  Can you confirm that you have deleted all  the Custom Object's records before hitting that endpoint? As described here. 
Delete a custom object — 

You can only delete a custom object after all object instances of that type are deleted.
