It sounds like you're trying to track analytics info (page views for example) for visitors to your non-HubSpot-hosted pages? Is that what you mean by a different system? Have you taken a look at the Tracking Code API? You can find documentation for it here: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/tracking_code_api/tracking_code_overview. In particular, read the section labeled "How do identities work?" . Beyond identifying visitors to your non-HubSpot-hosted pages, is there some other reason you'll need to use the API? By just adding the tracking code to those pages, the tracking information will get stored in a visitor's cookie.
