Timestamp of object associations

Hi there,

I wonder if it's somehow possible to find out when an association between objects happened.

For company - contact this is possible by looking at the property history of the contact property 'associatedcompanyid'. This timestamp reflects the date when the association happened.

But how is it with the association of a contact to a deal, can I find out here when the association took place?

Thanks a lot,
Ala

Timestamp of object associations

I would also like this, to report on when companies were associated to our custom object for referral partners (date of referral).

Thanks!

Timestamp of object associations

Hi @AlaPrechtl

I can't see anything, anywhere, that shows the time and date of the association.

With some custom code it would probably be possible to add a something to the Timeline when an association (e.g. Contact to Company) was made.

But, I can't see any way to do it out of the box.

Timestamp of object associations

Hi @Mike_Eastwood

Can you explain this custom code a little bit? And what would be the trigger?

Thanks,

Daniel

Timestamp of object associations

Hi @dstache

We'd typically set up an App and then set a Webhook Subscription to trigger on Property Change.

I haven't tried it with Associations, but that's where I'd start.

Have fun

Mike
