Timeout from our side: HubSpot APIs SOMETIMES don't answer in 60 seconds

Hello,

We developed a working code that connects with HubSpot's APIs. Sorry for my "not really tech" language, I'm just a marketer trying to help our developers in finding answers faster 🙂

However, sometimes (looks to be random and not always), when the code connects to APIs of HubSpot, we don't receive any "answer" from HubSpot then our application code runs into timeout.

We are struggling to understand why this is sometimes happening, because of course it's a problem. We also extended the duration of our application from 30 seconds to 60 seconds - nevertheless, sometimes we don't receive any answers and we "crash" in our timeout.

Do you have any advice for us?

Can you add any more details about the app?

Which API?  what is the request?  do you get errors returned?
