Stop (or not install) webhooks for specific portalId

I know webhooks are at the Application level, so I will receive webhook calls on my endpoint for every user who logs in via OAuth through my Hubspot App.

Problem with this:

1) If I'm no longer interested in receiving webhook calls for those users the only way is to ask them to uninstall my App from their Hubspot integrations. As far as I know doesn't exist a way just to say "Stop sending webhook calls for portalId: 123456789"

2) If I'm interested in not "installing" webhooks on specific users when they log in via OAuth with my app there is no way to specify this. The only way is to create (and manage) another app without webhooks and let those users log in on this "Light" App.

Am I missing something?

Considering that there are at this moment some changes on the webhooks, are you planning to introduce some changes for these topics? I know through the Hubspot Developer Community that this problem has been pointed out many times and there are pending Ideas waiting for replies.

I think this could be helpful to optimize many integrations, also on your side, not only for ours.

Hey, @mmaddiona 👋 Thanks for your feedback. As you noted, this is not possible at this time and has been requested as a feature addition. The best place to interact with the product team directly is by sharing your idea in the Ideas community or adding to an existing post.

Best,

Jaycee
