Reverse transcription

Hi, @Julien7720 👋 Thanks for your post.

The endpoint expects the caller to be on channel 1 and the recipient to be on channel 2. Here are some steps you can take to address this:

  • Verify Channel Assignment: Double-check the audio file to confirm that the caller's audio is indeed on channel 1 (left channel) and the recipient's audio is on channel 2 (right channel). The channels may need to be swapped.
  • If the channels are reversed, you can use audio editing software to switch the channels before uploading the file for transcription.
  • Ensure that your audio file format is one of the types that HubSpot transcribes (WAV, FLAC, MP4) and that it adheres to the channel specification as required by HubSpot's transcription system.
  • Test with a Known Good File: If possible, test the transcription with a file that you know has been transcribed correctly in the past. This can help identify if the issue is with the specific file or the transcription process in general.

If you're unable to resolve the issue on your own, please provide a code snippet of how you're uploading the file, any relevant response messages from HubSpot's API, and details on the audio file's creation and format. This will help in giving more targeted advice.
